We'd like to improve the appearance and quality of our Team Member bathroom and break area, and have some great ideas to do so, but we won't move forward with it until we prove as a team that we can take care of what we already have...

We’ve listed some opportunities we can accomplish together and if these marks are consistently achieved over a one month period, we’ll implement the best suggested changes to the break area.

**We've placed a box near the break table where you can share suggested changes/improvements you'd like to see in the restroom and break areas, as well as this list of opportunities to improve**

Bathroom Maintenance

The Bathroom should be kept in a state of cleanliness throughout the day, and when the opening shift comes in each morning, they should come in to a clean and stocked bathroom:

Specific Areas that will be monitored for this month and the standard moving forward:

- All paper trash is thrown away: none on floor or around the sink.

- No hair in the sink.

- The toilet seat is clean and stays tightened (this may require communicating to others the need for tools)

- Feminine products discharged appropriately.

- Trash can is emptied

- The mirror surface is clean

- No personal belongings are left behind (ie: toothbrush, hairbrushes, socks)

- The floor is swept and mopped

- The drain in the floor is free of debris

● Reward: Re-design TM bathroom with possible additions such as: painting walls, changing bench, coat hooks, etc.

Lodge Area Maintenance

The Lodge Area should be kept in a state of cleanliness throughout the day, and should be an inviting place where fellow Team Members desire to rest, eat, and hang out. When the opening shift comes in each morning, they should come in to a clean and orderly break space.

Specific Areas that will be monitored for this month and the standard moving forward:

- The Break Table is clear of trash, including leftover sauce packets and cups.

- The Break Table is wiped down: surface is free of crumbs and any sticky residue.

- The Break Table is free of personal belongings (uniform, shoes, personal clothing, cups, umbrellas, packages, etc.)

- The floor around the break area is clear of trash, swept, and mopped.

- Any trash can near the Break Area is emptied when full and is never overflowing with trash.

● Reward: We’ll implement the best and most practical ideas in the suggestion box. BE CREATIVE AND DREAM BIG. (And CLEAN BIG, too!)

Reminder: there's black box near the Break Table that has a sign on it encouraging you to share your ideas about possible upgrades to the bathroom and the Lodge...we'd love to hear from you!

But remember: Good ideas will only happen when we take good care of what we already have!

We will monitor these standards for the month of February and if we as a team maintain excellence in these areas, we'll launch our upgrades and renovations in March! LET'S GO, FULTON!
